the Labyrinth

at Christ Lutheran Church

The Labyrinth is a place for reflection, prayer, and discernment where all are welcome.

Find it near the church entrance off Chapel road.

  • A circular labyrinth made of stone tiles with a narrow pathway leading to the center and a small arrow-shaped entrance, surrounded by benches and fall foliage.

    Releasing

From the entrance of the labyrinth to the center, the goal of the path is ‘letting go’. It is an opportunity to give your worries and concerns to God.

Follow the brick route step by step. We promise you can make it all the way in, and then all the way out by the same pathway!

    Receiving

At the center of the labyrinth, there is an opportunity to receive insight and clarity. You may be in a receptive, prayerful, meditative state here.

You may wish to stand here for a moment while you pray.

    Renewing

As you walk back from the center to the entrance/exit, you may feel grounded and gain refreshment for going back into the world. You may feel empowered by the insights you receive.

Follow the path from the center all the way back to the entrance where you started.
